Upgrade your Sunset Cinema experience in the Sunset Lounge.
The upgrade does not include admission and must be purchased separately. All admits must have a Sunset Lounge upgrade to sit together in reserved area.
Sunset Lounge tickets are extremely limited each screening night & often sell out in advance!
Beanbags: Large outdoor sized beanbags. Fits one person. Available for pre-hire online when your purchase your ticket.
Lawn Chairs: Cute beach chairs to keep you up off the ground. Available onsite only.
BYO: Bring rugs, mats or seats from home. Pillow forts welcome (encouraged even!) but camping chairs can block other’s view so you’ll be asked to set up toward the rear of the venue.

Our St Kilda site is a natural outdoor inner city park with various terrain.
Wheelchair accessible parking is available and access for people with limited mobility is possible to most areas of the gardens including the Sunset Cinema site. There is a small step to get onto the grassed area. The surrounding street parking does have some disabled parking spots, but these are open to all the public.
Our St Kilda location uses headphones for patrons to hear the film through. Headphones will be provided for hire with the cost of the ticket.
Unrestricted and timed parking is available around the gardens, check local signs for more information. Parking is extremely limited, we suggest taking other means of transport or arrive early to ensure you secure a spot.
Train: Catch the Sandringham train to Balaclava station, walk or catch a tram west along Carlisle Street, cross St Kilda Road, walk one block along Blessington Street.
Tram: Take the 96 tram to the Acland Street and Barkly Street junction then walk along Blessington Street to the Gardens. Or take the 67 tram to Brighton Road and Mozart Street junction and walk along Mozart Street.
Bus: Bus routes 246, 600, 922, 923, 246 run along Barkley Street St Kilda, get off near the corner of Barkley Street and Blessington Street and walk one block to the gardens.
